Quality time...

Me and deb went for a long walk along the cliffs at seaham today. sounds glamorous, but there is large national trust area called blast beach, which leads into a limestone gorge surrounded by meadows, it was quite magnificent!

it is the first time we have been somewhere without abs for as long as we can remember, and it was a lovely afternoon. on the way back we stopped of at lickety splits for another sundae, after the 2.5 hour walk in the midday heat i think it was well deserved!

this bridge crosses a railway that follows the coast, probably from sunderland to darlo, although i am no expert on the railways! i liked the way it looks like the road just leads into the sea!!
