Pretty purple blossoms appear only after rain in Spring, Summer, and Fall. They are full of pollen and are loved by bees. Plant is native of Texas and the Chihuahuan Desert. Humidity currently is 23%, but high for the day was all the way up to 63%. It was a cloudy morning.
