Pointing to Oronsay

It was a beautiful evening today. A German couple holidaying on Skye were enjoying the view as the sun was setting. We were in Fiskavaig looking out across Loch Bracadale.

My guess is that he was pointing to Oronsay which one may walk onto when the tide is low. It is joined to Skye by a causeway which tonight was flooded.

Between where we are stood and the land on the far side of Loch Bracadale is the Isle of Wiay

On the far side of the loch one can see Macleod's Tables, so named for their flat tops
