Cricket debut

The wee man made his debut for Ballymena CC tonight in the final of the Northern Cricket Union Quoile Cup (under 11s) against CSNI.

It was a lovely evening, and after losing the toss, Ballymena were put in to bat. The wee man didn't get a chance to perform as, incredibly, the team scored 123 for the loss of no wickets after their alloted 20 overs. Sadly, the total proved to be 1 run too few, with CSNI scoring the winning run from the last ball of the match, ending on 124-4. The wee mad did manage to take a good catch, which pleased him hugely, but sadly I didn't manage to capture the moment on my camera. (typical, I hear you say!)

Nonetheless, the wee man enjoyed his first match, and definitely has a taste for more!
