Regatta Day

Today was the 193rd running of the Royal St John's Regatta, the longest running sporting event in North America.
The main deterrent to this event are wind speeds. A few years ago, the race was delayed by 2 days because the winds were too high.
The forecast called for higher winds later in the week so the race had to go ahead today in spite of the fog and drizzle.
