Highers

Sam received his Higher results today. He was working, so we had to wait for him to return home to open them. We sat for ages whilst he looked at the envelope before finally ripping it open and slowly revealing his grades. An A for Graphics, and a B each for Art, English and Physics. Maths, as predicted, was a D, but he can resit. We are all very pleased and he looked so relieved. He is out with friends tonight to celebrate and then it will all begin again when he returns to school for the next round of Highers and Advanced Highers. Perhaps now he will sort himself out with some work experience in product design - I think it would help to confirm in his mind that that's the direction he really wants to follow.
