Paronychia sp

In the home garden a relative of Dianthus, Sandworts and other in the Carophyllaceae, you are seeing the papery bracts that are below the flrs. If you look hard toward the center of the photo you can see the yellow staimens of an open flower. Not one you grow to stop traffic, but a great texture plant.

This one was collected in Armenia by a friend's brother.
