Fauna before Flora

Well actually some dairy cows awaiting the judges at the Kintyre Show in Campbeltown today. They are all washed and groomed (even having their bottoms wiped if necessary!) in preparation for their big moment.
Never got a chance to ask why the cow on the left was wearing a pink blanket, although I am sure there was a good reason.
The show is an important event for local farmers and a great day out for the wider community.
My personal highlight was scoffing off 4 freshly baked pamcakes and syrup in the WRVS tent!
