arundel Castle

Arundel castle is a proper medieval castle that was 'restored' by victorians. It is therefore awesome as it has old bits, yet looks like a fairytale castle. There's only one thing more disappointing than a castle that is too modern, and lacks character, and that is a castle that barely exist. It leads to conversations like this:
jim 'here's a castle'
me 'where?'
J: 'HERE'
Me:'castles have floors. And roofs. and Dungeons. Where are the WALLS jim??'
J:'Ok, it's a hillfort'
me:'its a HILL'

Anyway I don't know why but this is my favorite of a lot of nice shots
