This spot attracts all the young ?locos? of the area. They seem to have fun flinging themselves off the rock into the sea. It?s very close to the east-end of Burriana Beach. You have to swim around a giant rock to get to the secluded beach or walk over the hills to get here. This spot has a wonderful cave where we enjoy entering in the kayak. The colours of the light reflected in the sea are amazing. A great shame my camera cannot do it justice.

The shot is taken from just inside the cave looking out into the sun. Not the best angle to take the shot but it took the lad a good 10 minutes to pluck up the courage to jump. I wasn?t hanging around for the next victim. Rocking to be done.

Perfect conditions again for a bit of rocking along the coastline of Maro. This time I was in a double. Easier to take photos or so I thought. However my co-driver seemed dead set on crashing into the rocks whenever I got the camera out!

A bit of excitement was caused by the mass treasure hunt in a secret location just outside Maro (near the cascada ? Opps!). Manolo told us that a recently married tourist had lost her wedding ring whilst swimming near the waterfall. So we donned the snorkel gear and went for a look. The reward being a full Jamon de Serrano! Alas, nothing was found. Then again nobody could tell if Manolo was telling the truth or if he was ?tomando el pelo? again.
