Fun(nles)

Summer mornings I often see the Waverley paddle steamer taking on passengers outside the Science Centre on the other side of the river as I cycle into work.

Today, I crossed over the footbridge and rode alongside, then clambered up the steps at the foot of the Mlllennium Tower to sit for a while in the sunshine, daring myself to go aboard instead of continuing on to my habitual destination. It didn't last, of course.
