In The Occupied Territory

Everything stops for tes

A very lazy day. Rain rain go away.
This is an Argentinian cup made from a hollowed gourd. It is for drinking matte tea. You make the tea in the cup and drink it through the metal straw that you see sitting in the gourd.
It sits on our kitchen window.
Matte tea, which you can by, loose leaf of course. is a slightly smoky tea and very delicious.
We got given this as a present from our friend Lois, who is Argentinian and lives in the Catskilll Mountains in upstate New York.
