Point and shoot

It was hardly 6 AM when sunlight broke through. It entered through the door in the balcony, passed the guest room, the dining space, the sitting space and hit the wall at the very end more than halfway up towards the ceiling. The rays were unusually bright and unhindered, like sunlight in the hills. And other places. The sky on the opposite side was blue and clouds, pushed by a strong wind, scampered across it. When I walked onto the balcony, the light had transformed everything, the colours, as Nikon would say, were "vivid."

Delhi provides scant opportunities to point the camera at the sun. Good light excites me. I seek it out.

I also seek out happy people.
