police line (London riots)

To help with the London riots, I saw this long line of Lancashire Constabulary police vans making their way through Hendon.

So far, Hendon has been quiet but there's talk of riots happening fairly close by. As usual, it's mostly rumours and panic, no idea if it's true or not. But, local shops, the university and the nursery all closed early today just in case.

London's a pretty scary place to be just now.
