Stay off streets

Lots of shops were closed already when I went home after work today, people I know were told to leave work earlier. There is a nervous feeling around as everybody seems to be wondering what will happen in their neighbourhood once it gets dark in London. 16000 police will be on the streets tonight trying to stop a repeat of the riots of the last three days. Will they succeed?
