Well here he is folks. This really is a picture of Greyfriars Bobby.

I thought he looked good with the Festival crowds milling around him. Staunch, proud, unfazed and most likely unimpressed with the riotous behaviour and short skirts.

Thye've been debunking his myth. Sort of missing the point.
