Roadside Assistance

K and her Dad reconsidering how to change a truck tire on uneven ground after it fell of the jack. An eight second exposure with the camera held on the blown tire; northern lights for backlighting and emergency flashers for front lighting.

Three quarters of the way to our cabin one of the Suburban's tires threw off its tread. That was a pretty rousing noise for everyone but especially for the pup asleep in the back beside the wheel well. She made it into the back seat beside K and J in one leap, poor girl.

J has a cell phone that was still receiving a signal and I have an auto club membership but RS, a Queen's Scout from way back, and the daughter he's trained in some of the arcane arts of emergency auto service didn't want our contribution. All ended well eventually. In the meantime, what to do except take pictures?
