The Good Life

Wee surprise in the garden. The tomato plants I potted just at the start of summer have actually begun to fruit. By my reckoning, come harvest time I'll have enough tomatoes for a salad and enough apples to fill a fruit bowl. Not exactly enough to be self-sufficient and hardly worth the effort but that's not the point is it? I'll have a whole load of self satisfaction and a deluded notion that I could retire and live off the land.

Think I'll keep working just in case.

Not much happening today; wet and miserable. Although we did go and get Susie a well deserved and special gift as compensation for carrying Brody for 9 months.
