Today we have mostly been reading

After our wee adventure away, we slept in until almost 10am. It was pouring outside, so most of the day was spent pottering about. Rowan and I had quite a laugh together talking about our favourite words.

Me - 'I love the words buttercup, plum and beloved - how about you?'
Rowan - (thinking) 'Mm I like carton.'
Me - 'Really?'
Rowan - 'Yeah really.'

Then we both burst out laughing.

Murron read all day. She came down for food. That was the only time I saw her.

Blue wouldn't budge, but I made Scout go out in the rain. He sat on the stoop miaowing. I finally let him in and he proudly deposited a vole at my feet.
