Lecco at Night

I took this one evening (18th July apparently). Loved taking this shot and a few days later entered it to our local camera competition. Did a bunch of shots. Like good old bw, this was a shot where the colours just didn't sit happily, tungsten in the front, natural behind, sort of blue vs orange mess that would not correct nicely. So zapped it into bw.

Anyway, it won the competition! Not shabby. And my second picture more or less came second as well. An excellent result.

However, for reasons that you will have to read my Blips for, the original of this picture no longer exists. Sigh.
