So Near and Yet So Far

This year I was one of 16 who qualified (heaven knows how) to play in the Challenge Cup. I have managed to win three matches and found myself in the final which was played today. When we got to the 9th hole I was leading by three holes. Then the rot set in and I lost the match on the 16th hole. I was quite pleased to have got this far but as I am unlikely ever to qualify again I am a little disappointed that I did not finish the job off. Still I have a nice runner's up prize to remind me of the day.
