fringe 9 - Puppet "flyering"

Do you want to take a flyer from this puppet?

This puppet is part of a show called "Cautionary Tales". The description on the programme goes: "Critically acclaimed Runaground, gruesomely retell Belloc's admonishing verses in this tragi-comic, high-octane gambol. The dynamic performers use physical theatre, puppets, masks and live music to create a whirlwind of macabre tales featuring lions, shotguns and muddy little boys." Interesting!

I like the verse on the back of the flyer:

"My little victim, let me trouble you
To fix your active mind on W.
The Waterbeetle here shall teach
A sermon far beyond your reach:
He flabbergasts the Human Race
by glidding on the water's face
With ease, celerity and grace:
But if he ever stopped to think
Of how he did it, he would sink.

MORAL
Don't ask Questions!"

Hilaire Belloc

Anyway, another rainy day in Edinburgh. Lots of tourists with waterproof jackets, hoods, plastic ponchos umbrellas and even plastic bags on their feet! Meanwhile the festival goes on. Today I joked with some Spanish tourists. I told them that the people wearing t-shirts and flip flops under the rain were the locals. After all, this is summer!!! Hahahaha!

Another busy day at work and now relaxing. Feeling really tired. Hoping to get a good sleep this evening!

Thanks very much for all your comments! I hope you all had a nice day! :)
