Granny's visit

My Mum came to visit today. She lives over two hours away and every minute and mile is too far. Her visits enrich our lives.

She was born in 1941. My second daughter was born in June 2011. I hope when I am 70 I will hold my grandchilds hand and remember this day.

My grandmother died in 1985 aged 73 and got to hold my hand many times during my childhood.

I hope my Mum gets to hold my children's growing hands for many far reaching years to come.
