Girl

This little girl and her cat reading together sits on our fireplace. I bought it over twenty three years ago when I had my own first permanent residence as a grown-up. That residence was a one bedroom council flat and I remember spending what was then a lot of money on 'an ornament'.

I've never regretted spending out on it. It brings me joy when I look at it, and now, Mr H has the pleasure of it to. I love to read, however, have never had a cat.

It was interesting to photograph as I took numerous shots of her, her expression kept on changing. A trick of the camera.... It's also my first attempt in black and white.
