Sorry

This pigeon so nosey, so inquisitive and cheeky,
decided to have just a really quick peeky,
through the window on which he decided to do
such a charming, delicate but rather large poo.

As he saw me standing with tremendous aghast,
his shame and embarrassment he failed to mask,
On seeing this creature, his eyes saying to me
'Oh dear! Oh pardon! I am very sorry!'

I realise now it is becoming slightly unhealthy to keep taking photos of and writing poems about pigeons and poo.

I here by swear that I will go and explore this great city of Athens. I will see the thousands of years of history and take more interesting photos and not allow this obsession with pigeon mess to escalate.
