Big girl

Jessie will be three in October and insists that she is a big girl. She sees herself as an equal to her 15 year old cousin Flora and indeed any older child.

This climbing frame is part of a local pub's play area we visited today with friends. There are two sections to the equipment based on ages. This of course is for the bigger children; up to 12 years in fact. So of course Jessie threw herself at it with gusto and 100% confidence that this was the apparatus for her.

Oh to have such powerful self regard and belief. I hope she carries it with her always.
