Luma Tower, Glasgow

One of the best preserved Art Deco buildings in Glasgow. Built in 1938 as the former Luma Lamp factory in Shieldhall Road, Govan, to coincide with the Empire Exhibition in nearby Bellahouston Park.

Taken whilst stopped at the traffic lights - I was in the passenger seat! We were out and about today, visiting showrooms to consider fitments for our current building project. The sun actually shone for a couple of hours, so after days of constant rain, it was good to see some blue sky. It is however raining again this evening.
