downtown with the food critic

Really cool and fun trip with the food critic of a local newspaper. There were 8 of us and we went to 7 restaurants. She knew every chefs name and their background and what their food style is. I was so impressed with her and all the restaurants we visited, every one was ready for us with a small sample of food and sometimes wine or a special drink.
Nice to try a new activity.
The chef pictured above was slicing up a tuna that was caught this morning. He spoke about spices, sauces, trying new recipes, being open minded and listening to the customers.
