Another King Parrot.

This is the female King Parrot on the feeder in our garden. There were 2 pairs hanging around and taking turns to feed this afternoon.
The female is a gorgeous bird! But somehow I tend to forget how beautiful when the male is around - he is so bright and showy.
We have had a lovely Sunday - not too cold. The children have been quiet (apart from the snoring) after their big party in the shed last night. Luke came inside at about 4am - I thought he must have got cold, but he said he couldn't sleep because Jack was licking his face, lol.
I went for a walk this morning - peaceful and beautiful with the birds calling in the trees. I even surprised 4 kangaroos that were grazing near the road. Just a perfect day :))
