The sweet smell of success

At this time of year, Edinburgh is full of visitors and full of shows. There's also a kind of parallel universe too where Edinburgh's residents go to shows too. However, these are not the ones with yet another young male comic, these are shows that friends have worked on for months to produce. Choirs and amateur dramatic groups alike revel in the applause.

We went to see our friend L in a 70s farce - great fun. Some interesting casting - she as a 70 year old woman and another in her 60s as her daughter! They deservedly got full houses all week!
