Mackerel

Al, Grant and I managed to pull ourselves out of bed at 6.30am for a 15 mile cycle round the bay, up some forest tracks and to the trig point at the end of Lamlash bay. It was a bit misty and damp and we couldn't see much, but a great start to the day, especially with Al's cooked brekky to look forward to.

Went out fishing later and managed to catch a few mackerel in the bay.

The pic on the left is Grant in the kayak used to bring the boat in from it's mooring. Al is in the boat behind although you can't see him - all these cooked breakfasts mean that the boat is a bit stern-heavy until the rest of us get in!
