Breakfast.

This is my latest breakfast concoction.

It's hard to see from the photo but it contains a veritable explosion of gubbins.

In Delia Smith's voice...

The first layer is a beautiful burst of berries, fresh from the garden; raspberries, blackberries and alpine strawberries forming a bed for the other ingredients.

Next, we have the homemade greek yoghurt made from Mother's new toy; a yoghurt maker. A silky splodge with a kitsch aftertaste to offset the sweet berries.

The third layer consists of strawberry jam carefully drizzled with a teaspoon, adding another layer of sweetness.

The fourth and final coating is a heavy handful of Fairtrade muesli, creating dryness with oats and dried fruit.


Home definitely has it's perks. I wouldn't have any of these ingredients at uni!
