High pasture

Below the fabulous Pic du Midi d?Ossau at the end of a long day's hike as we descended back into the high pastures either side of the mountain river of the Gave de Bious, we came across this incredible pastoral scene at the Cabanes de la Hosse at about 1700m. A mix of sheep, cows and 'wild' horses (we never quite worked out if the horses were part of the shepherd's herds or not). I really want to come back to this area (Pyrénées National Park) of the to walk and climb more. Fantastic !!
