school spires

well it's been a funny old day of weather. at 7pm while walking the dog it felt like a Scottish december afternoon. togged up in jeans, boots, woollens and gore tex as the rain poured down - dark, dank and dreich. you'd never know it was summer!

a productive day of sorting out a small number of the 100 things still to do before heading abroad. i'm certainly looking forward to a real summer.

this shot was taken on a full zoom lens, but i liked the silhouette of the traditional old school building, and the different bands of sunset sky following the downpour. it's a pity the tree in the foreground is so blurred but hey ho, can't have it all.

blip says i'm 170% more likely than other blippers to mention the word 'holiday'. apologies folks!!
