Hamster Invasion Buzzing My Head

Our house has a small colony of these robotic rodents and they are quite fun I must admit. I love Niall's little house he has made for his pet. Must be about a dozen of them in the house!

Been reading a book on technology and the impact on people individually and wider society. Got my head buzzing even when looking at these simple toys. Wonder how much longer before these hamsters are a little more interesting with a bit more fur and learning capability squeezed full of miniaturised cpu's and cameras developed for our mobile phones. The ultimate convenience/surveillance pet/Guard dog? Give it a few years.
