A new day at midnight

Walking in the Herefordshire countryside near Dymock, we came across this chimney together with a solitary gate post - the only remnants of what I presume was some one's home - tucked away at the bottom of a maize field visible only to the walkers who managed to find their way through the 8ft corn on the Daffodil walk. It was a welcome distraction from the acres of corn and wheat but then the best time to walk this trail is late February and March when the wild Daffodils are in bloom in the woods and fields around Dymock and Kempley.
