Wistful moments

River Weaver

Decided to make the most of the nice weather whilst up in Cheshire, and take myself off for a walk. I packed a picnic for one and drove to Frodsham where i parked up and followed a lovely footpath at the side of the river before veering off to follow fieldside tracks and return through woodland. I nearly turned back tho' a mile into the walk as i had to cross a field of very frisky 18 month old Aberdeen Angus. How do i know how old they were? Cos the farmer saw me dithering around for about 20 mins sitting on a stile flapping my arms to no avail. He abandoned his tractor and harvesting briefly to escort me across the field filling me in on their history!! What a nice man. :-)
