How I Live Now

Lowry Centre

Another day, another city.

We arrived in Manchester on Weds night but didn't venture far from the hotel (due to torrential rain rather than riot aftermath, Belfast girls don't let little things like a few petrol bombs flying around stop them from having a good time).

On Thursday we headed out to Salford to stay with R's sister. We wandered into the Lowry Centre to get out of the rain for a bit. As well as the Lowry Favourites exhibition ('The Girl in Short White Socks" was my favourite, but I can't find an online reference to it anywhere?!) we saw 'Warhol and the Diva'. I love his Polaroids - so simple, not manipulated but full of strength and attitude.
