Pictures from the Muir

By frankmuir

Was wandering through the Cemetry at Forglen near Turriff in Aberdeenshire this sunny afternoon, when I came across a gravestone dating back to 1768 or there about. Underneath it was a further slab of stone on which there was a spade, hourglass, bell, coffin and a key. I have never seen anything like this before but it may relate to the occupation of the deceased or tools to help him or her on their way. Any more ideas ?
