Between Brushstrokes

By felicitypapp

Lights out.

Saturday night inside a club before doors open to the public.
Out with a bunch of Americans. Safety by numbers?

Owner of the club catching up on his beauty sleep after not getting much sleep the night before. Napping on a couch that should revert back to looking inviting once the lights go down.

We all transform when the lights get low. Shadows sweeping away the ugly traces of the day: dirt, wrinkles, cynicism.
Temporary blessings. Don't glance at the mirror on your way to bed.
