The Model

Simple question today, why are all showroom modelsrepresenting, WHITE, average build ,good looking (sort of) people? Even the kid's ones.
We live in a multi- cultural society made up of all colours and shapes; in fact, as we all know, that there is a severe "over-weight" problem in the western world today, but still the dummies are all average; average of a past era maybe, not today's.
Perhaps if they displayed the clothes on realistically sized mannequins then some folk would see what the apparel actually looked like on their representative size and not wear clothes that, as we all see, look ridiculous on the over sized body.
Just because it looks good on a dummy, dummy, doesn't mean it will suit you.
