Artefact

This is a nice wee find from an archaeological excavation Left Hand completed recently in Edinburgh University. The artefact was found in the basement of a building occupied between 1642 and 1820 and known to house the Printing Press of the University. This small piece of 'typeset' or 'founder's type' used in the printing process.
