Geee Thanks

Had my surgery today and part of my anxiety disorder and panic problems are needles. I asked for my husband to be present when they did the IV explaining about my problem. "oh I think you'll be fine" from one nurse and "this be done and over fast" from the other nurse. Inside I was total panic and on the outside the IV nurse was slapping the hell out of my "wonderful" veins in my hand. Yeah... She had trouble and I ended up with it in my wrist. I'll be mentioning this to the Dr when I go back to see him in a week. Pure, pure panic was not how I wanted to enter surgery.
