Chalky

We have had a beautiful day outside today. Started at 7.45am down at the local field with Mini League soccer with the youngest. Their team walloped the other team 7-0. They really played like a team today. My favourite bit was watching Louis (age 4) do his celebration after each goal...there's a young man who's been inducted into the beautiful game and all its rituals! Just delightful.

The Youngest and I walked/scootered home, on the coastal walkway. We met plenty of dogs and their owners to talk to on our way. No complaints from the Youngest...which was fab!

The Eldest had an away match, so on their way back, the Husband stopped in at a nursery and bought some grasses and coprosma to add to our bank out the front. The afternoon has been spent planting. The Husband is currently off playing his game...while the girls and I have been outside doing gardening, and playing.

The girls got the chalks out, and have almost completely decorated our drive now.

Bring on summer!!!
