Meeting the neighbours

Meet Fudge one of my new neighbours! Fudge the hen lives next door but he comes over to visit most days and stands expectantly at the patio door looking into the living room. He and Clisham the cat treat each other with great respect and so far there have not been any fights!

Enjoyed a lovely long lie and slow start to the day that was then taken up with housework, shopping and getting my eyes tested. I got a nice new pair of reading glasses made for me within the hour and my varifocals will be ready in a week or two. I have got to that age when I will have to wear them all the time as I am forever putting down my reading glasses and loosing them!
