Bloomington's Barbarians

Every Sunday I see this group of 6 or 7 guys (and sometimes a female or two) in the park. They all have padded swords (bats?) and shields and some of them even dress up in either kilts or some sort of medieval looking togas. They stand around chatting and then every once in a while a couple of them will break out of the group and they will start battling one another. On days when there are more of them, they will sometimes form teams that line up opposite one another and then they will charge at each other into battle. It was very hot out today when they were doing this, so I'm surprised no one keeled over from heat stroke.
