Lifes Rich Tapestry

Dwarfed

The view I see as I await my bus home. The view from Waterloo Street into Bothwell Street and St Vincent Street beyond.

The mega structure is the Pinnicle building which is residential high rise living for the early 21st century.

Dwarfed by comparison is the St Vincent Street church which would not look out of place on a hill top over looking Athens. Designed by Alexander 'Greek' Thomson in the 19th century.

Athough it's dwarfed in size and 'whoosh look at me' attitude of the Pinnicle building, I think the St Vincent Street church dwarfs the pretender with style and panache.

The question is ... will The Pinnicle building still be standing in 152 years time?
