Turnberry Light

Today was my last day off before going back to work, so I set off for a drive and a walk. I ended up at Turnberry on the Ayrshire coast. A short walk across the posh golf course takes you to the Turnberry Lighthouse. It's in quite a spectacular setting overlooking Arran and the Ailsa Craig. It's a place that is hard to take a bad picture although I did manage a few. The traditional shot of this place tends to be looking across at the light from a small cove, although I thought this shot with the rocks in represented why the lighthouse was built there in the first place. After that it was a drive into Girvan for some fish & chips then the long drive home !
