Volcanos in glory

This is Hachijo-Kojima volcano just off-shore from the main island of Hachijojima. It is 620m high and marks the oldest of the three volcanos that make up this island with Mihara San (720m) and Hachijo-Fuji (854m) as the bigger and younger brothers. I like to think that from such power and destruction that three volcanos can deliver, such a peaceful, green and beautiful island was created.
