In for a web footed landing

Large black swan coming in for a landing on the river.

They are starting to defend territories, and there's a bit of toing and froing up and down the river as last year's young ones try to push out the older ones.

Afternoon light which is the best for me - cant' get over the other side of the river so easily now the bridge is wrecked.

Re yesterday's unsettled birds, there was a quake last night, but only a 4.4 which was a jolt, but nothing falling down or getting broken, so we hardly notice it now. Wouldn't have thought it was enough to upset animals.
